Dear Mom – Happy Mother’s Day!!!

by on May.07, 2011, under Celebrations, Family, Love

Dear Mom,

I write to you today, a letter, to tell you how much you mean to me and to say: I Love You!

I often sit in thankfulness and blessing realizing how special you really are.  You are kind and compassionate, caring and patient, prayerful and spiritual. You are thoughtful, mindful, playful, and even listen to me and my stories without commenting – until I am finished.  Then you encourage me, support my crazy ideas and always wish the best for m.

You pray for me, you have loved me even when I couldn’t and didn’t love myself.  For that I am grateful!

You have taught compassion and caring with your actions, not just your words.  More importantly, you have taught these attributes to many people, not just your family.

They say Latinos share a different type of love than many other cultures – I do not know if this is true, but the carinoso, cultura and familia that you have shared with us is a blessing.  And again, as a teacher, you taught many about our culture.

You have taught me how to live my life in a loving manner, how to be patient, and even saintly – whether I have done so has always been my choice.  But this letter is about you, not me.

As a mother, you have had to carry, feed, nurture, educate and protect us.  You have done this in a loving manner and without complaint.

You made us feel loved and special, each of us in our own special way.  You support us and our endeavors without question, but instead with love.

Mom, words cannot express what you mean to me and I cannot give you anything that equals the love you have given me.

So I say the following: You are beautiful, cool, hip loving, a great mom, a good sister and a loving daughter.  Our family holds you in high regard making you an excellent role model.

Your actions are worth emulating, your love is worth sharing and your accomplishments are worth noting.  I wish I spent more time with you, learning more about you sharing how much you mean to me.

So, I offer you my sobriety, my love and this letter for the world to see.

I love you Mom – Thanks for being you – I could not have been blessed with a better Mother.

Your Loving Son

P.S.

For all of the mothers out there – you deserve more than one day and love in more than one way – So I say this to you all:  May you find the peace and Blessings of God’s Love this and every day that you live.

For those that no longer have their mother – I sincerely hope and pray that you are peace, get to see Her again and have at least one more chance a the loving hugs only a mother can give.

And just so you know – OUR MOTHER MARY WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!

Take Care, God Bless and Cool Runnings Mon – Michael

Holiday Season with Angels and Family

by on Dec.15, 2010, under General Posts

Happy Holidays to you and your Family.

As the days get closer to Christmas, I stop and wonder:  What goes on in everyone’s  mind?

People rushing to get holiday shopping done on time and preparing for Christmas Dinner, perhaps holiday party’s with co-workers and exchanging gifts.

I have always enjoyed watching everyone feeling so merry and cheerful when the holidays come around.

It’s funny, because I used to be that person, always wanting to give to my family and even those I didn’t know.  I have always felt that if I was going to have a warm Christmas I wanted other families with children to have the same.

This year has been tough for a lot of us, and perhaps there are some of us that don’t know how to deal with it.

There was a time when I was always able to help others with financial relief and did so without hesitation.

Today it is different, I am unable to give as freely as I used to, yet my holidays will be okay.  I plan to spend this Holiday Season with Angels and Family.

I ask Jesus Christ to surround me  with all his beautiful Angels and with their strong wings to lift me up in spirit, and continue to bring that smile to my face, even when I know times are tough.

I must focus on what the Holidays are about :  It’s preparing me for the Birth of Jesus Christ on Christmas Day.

What I am trying to share with you is that no matter how hard things may seem, when it feels like everything is crumbling around you – you must remember that you are not alone.

You are surrounded by Angels  and they are lifting you up in Spirit.  You can find them all around you if you take the time to see them.

Be thankful for what you have and even for what you don’t have.

I am Thankful for my love for Christ and my Family, and friends that really care.  I love you just like Jesus Christ loves me and Jesus loves you too.

So I say to you: Thank You for all you have done for me, and not allowing me to give up my dreams.  This alone will make my Holiday brighter.

I hope you spend this Holiday Season with Angels and Family, and may it be merry and cheerful.

May your Holiday Season be warm and full of love, and the Greatest Gift you receive is knowing that God makes the impossible – Possible!

Happy Holidays to you and your Family,

Brandy Lopez

Supporting Each other Can Make a Difference!

by on May.15, 2010, under General Posts

I want to start by saying Hi and Thank You!  to all  who continue to support us  through our Journey and our Dreams.

Which brings me to a subject  that I feel is very Important to me. recentley,  we went and  gave  our Support  to  someone dear to me and many of us in our Community – Jesse Borrego.  Jesse happens to be a great actor, but also a very Humble person.  He is always ready to give back whether it’s a little or alot.  Jesse as well as myself  believe that when you come out and show your support, Especially when it comes to reaching out to students who work so hard in pursuing their education and in hopes to earn a degree and follow their dreams and journey, we believe that by way of helping in raising funds to help with a Scholarships, can make a difference!

It creates Encouragement rather then Discouragement, With alot of our Schools going through Hardship, the Amount that was raised recently will help a student to at least get him to NYU in hopes that he will continue his education there.

I live my life to make a difference, and  supporting others is a huge factor in my heart, God Blessed me with my gift and it remains open to help others whether it’s a little or alot it can some how make a Difference!

I encourage everyone  reading my Blog that if there is a Fundraiser taking place for a wonderful cause, just showing up can be of great support!

A friend just told me that when I support, He loves that I do it with such a Beautiful Attitude, Thank You Brandon Olmos my Brother in Christ!

To all the Students I say this don’t ever think that there is not a way to afford your education, We are here to Support you and make a Difference  in your Life remember you are the Future!

God Bless you  and Thank You Jesse Borrego (We Love You)

Just say “Thanks!”

by on Mar.24, 2010, under General Posts

As I wake up every morning I thank God for another Blessed Day and, of course, I ask for Strength , Guidance and healing.

Then I ask myself: “Okay, what is on the Agenda for today?”  As I put things together in my mind, I know I should jump out of bed at that moment and put it down on paper, as I have been suggested to do, but at times, I don’t.  Then things can become overwhelming , and frustration sneaks in and yes I then get impatient.  But then, there’s my manager, who is also my executive producer, who makes it all better – or like he says, he tries to anyway.

I watch him hard at work that sometimes I feel maybe my Ideas are not as great as his.  God shares alot with me and one important thought that he just shared with me is something everyone perhaps already knows, that when two great minds  or more come together, things start to happen.  And I hear that from my manager.

So with as much strong Faith as I have and My strong  Believe in Christ I just want to say to my manager and executive producer: Thank You Thank You Thank You!!  You are amazing and I respect you and all the decisions you make for our business.  You are the Brain and I Love You for that.

This week  is a Great testimony on how wonderful God is and with your dedication and hard work and the love you have for LFTV we have received a much greater reward.  I learn something new from you everyday and I stand by your side and continue to walk with you and also trust and believe in you as you believe in me .

If you are out there working on your business and have a partner be sure and Thank them for what they do – it really means alot and it goes along way – trust me I know!

And all of you who support Latin Fusion TV – Thank You Thank You Thank You!
