A huge hello and Big Hug to all our readers who continue to support our LFTV Blog!  It really has been a while since my last blog, so I want to say I am sorry.. It has been pretty busy and I can’t believe March is almost gone.

I want to say” Happy Birthday” to all those who are celebrating a birthday in March. I recently celebrated mine with my beautiful family that I love so much.

The moments that we spend with our family can become and should always be very memorable. My siblings and I are very close and I am very Blessed with my beautiful children.  One thing I can say is: Dad and I did something right! And to have two sets of wonderful parents that are always smiling. Just to see the excitement on their face when we walk through the front door of their home you immediately feel the warming welcome.

I am not saying that we are perfect lets be  realistic who is?  Other than one man and his name is Jesus Christ.

We spoil and pamper each other in a loving and caring way,we laugh, we cry together, we pray for each other when we are facing tough times.  There are those who  think  my mom has the Red phone to reach God when we need answered prayers.

I share this  with you because, to me, everyday is a Birthday of celebration, especially when it comes to your family and those that you love; we always include and never exclude.

We recently had two family members that we had not seen in over twenty years come back into our lives.  To have them back in our lives was like they were never apart from us.  Even from a distance, the closeness that one has, and the love that we hold in our hearts, will always make up for the lost time.

As I celebrate this moment in time I ask  myself why am I  so Blessed to have a family as Beautiful as mine.

So when it comes to celebrating your birthday remember this, Everyday that you wake up you should give thanks and celebrate another day of life and another day to say how Blessed you are to have a Family that loves you so.

It’s not the gifts and the parties that you will cherish; but The Love of your Family that you will keep close to your heart till eternity.

This was the best gift God could have blessed me with and I wouldn’t have asked for anything else.

So if you are celebrating your birthday remember this, Family and Friends and the one that you Love is the best Gift of All that anyone could possibly have.

I do not know if this describes  you, but just know this, that no matter how small or big your family may be, or even if there is no family at all: Say Thank You to God for your special day and celebrate  today just like you would tomorrow.

“We walk by Faith and not by Sight”

I am hoping that everyone has started off the New Year with a great start.

2010 was probably not a great year for a lot of us as we have all probably had to face some sort of trial or tribulation.

With that comes pain.

There are so many types of pain that  one can encounter, and at times we our selves don’t realize what is causing it.

It can be an injury due to trauma? It can be a health issue? It can be anything you can possibly think of that creeps up with age? It can be physical? It can be mental? It can be real or psychosomatic.

But Pain is Pain – no matter what!

So where does pain come from and what causes it?  It may come from someone you loved and shared you life with has passed on? It may come from someone you trusted has hurt you some how?

And right about now, You are probably wondering what does that have to do with “Hope and Healing.”

I have learned that even when you have gone through setbacks in your life, whether it be medical or emotional – it is associated with pain…

You may find that all this time the pain that you thought you were suffering with was health related, where in some cases it may be true, but in others it may just be something that you have been hurting from, that over the course of time, has brought pain to your heart.

Recently I was watching a The Dr. Carrasco Show, produced in San Antonio. The Doctor shared a story with us about one of his patients.

After a period of time in hoping to find a cure that would help his patient from  going  through depression and Anxiety and help free her from the thoughts of giving up.

The process for Hope and  Healing began.

When finally, as you learn more about the patients history, you find that what was causing the deterioration traveling through her body was a much more greater pain that affected her heart.

In this  case it was the abuse that this beautiful human being went through – not only once, but twice!

She was violated in such a terrible way that after years of treatment, she no longer wanted to live life.

All this time the pain that she was going through was the sadness and resentment she was having to deal with for some time.

Her doctor saw her as a family member the way a patient should be seen.

His belief and the love he has for Christ is the same love he has for his patients, and with that comes  Hope and Healing.

She was given Hope in believing that the healing process had already begun.

Today his patient dances around the room like the Ballerina she has always been.

The point to this story is when we are in pain and feel there’s no way out always remember that God will put someone in your path who has hope for you and will help with the healing, and that is what he was able to help his patient with.

I want to share something very Important with you: Whatever you may be going through in life and the pain becomes persistent, always turn to God and ask for hope and healing. There may be a doctor or someone who may help.

But always remember it has to start with you who wants the hope of being healed.

And to those of you who may not always understand when the one you love is hurting with pain. Why do you suppose that is?

Ask God for hope and healing and feel the gentleness of each others HEART.

Remember to love one another and say those words that god says to you “I Love You!”
