Gaining Strength

by on Jul.20, 2011, under Faith, Fear, Love, Spiritual

These past few weeks have been pretty good and I could feel that I was Gaining Strength – seeing things differently, not worrying so much, and trusting more in God and what His plans are for me.

But, have you ever noticed that just when things are going great and you feel in your heart that there is no need to worry or feel insecure, the enemy arrives to mess things up, creating problems for whatever reason.

Life can be complicated enough, working hard day in and day out to make ends meet, without additional problems created by circumstance, especially as we gain momentum. We are only human, and sometimes, we may see, hear or read something and not like what we saw, heard or read.  Do we just stay quiet or do we question it?  Do we look deep enough into it to realize that it is truly circumstantial?

I even ask myself: “Why do I allow certain things to bother me?”  “Why can I not get past certain fears and insecurities?”

I sometimes wish I could share what it is I feel and why I feel the way I sometimes do in the hopes that there may be someone out there with answers to my questions.

But instead I continue my walk with Christ and work on my weaknesses and look at life in a positive manner, the way God has always led me to see things.  However, obstacles do get in the way.But no matter what obstacles get in our way – we shouldn’t let them bring us down, especially if we have worked so hard to get where we are.  We have to be strong as we are gaining strength.

You see, the enemy sees us Gaining Strength and he wants nothing better but to destroy us and our confidence.  And, as life gets tough, it is easy to get discouraged or quit.  The enemy uses this discouragement to get to us, especially if we are not yet strong enough.

This is when we are most vulnerable.  This is when we need God most and He will show his strength in our weakness.  So, when the enemy attacks, ask Him for guidance and remember that you have already Gained Strength and nothing can take it away.

God sees and knows our accomplishments because He helped us achieve them.   He gives us signs to show that He is present and is strengthening our resolve and character.  He also sends people to help us in our journey.

I share this with you because sometimes it also takes a good person to help you Gain Strength. We need someone to believe in our dreams and goals, even when we don’t believe in them ourselves.  Especially when we lose our Dream-Ability!

One reason I have gained so much strength these past two years or so is my partner and Executive Producer, Michael Arellano.  He runs around making sure I have all that I need to keep the show going and that I continue my journey with a positive attitude.

I am not saying that he is perfect, but I can say that he cares about the business and has Faith in what God has put in front of him.  And he constantly encourages me to be strong. Although sometimes he can be hard on all of us, he is the strong in so many ways.

I Thank God for bringing a great person and friend to me when he did, I may never be able to repay all that he has given up to support me and  bring strength to my Dream.

It is important that you know who you welcome into your life and know that you can trust them. Thank them for all they do and let them know how much you appreciate them.

Finally, I ask God daily to continue to bless you with all your endeavors. Mil Gracias for all of your support!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Fourth of July, and a Special Salute to all our Troops.  Blessing and Powerful Prayer to the Families who have lost a Love one!  Please stay cool and hang out in the shade.
