Blessings are showers of snowflakes!
by LatinFusionTV on Mar.06, 2010, under General Posts
Do you sometimes wonder why it is that some plans take a little longer than expected to start happening? If you do, then maybe this will help sort things out for you.
I have always realized that it’s not my plan, but God’s. And sometimes I have to wait on His blessings. But when He is ready – Boy, He really gives those Blessings. And to me, these blessing are like showers of snowflakes. I have come to realize that God covers our dreams and they become reality. Before this happens, I have to do a few things:
- Pray;
- Always ask God to be my voice and their ears; and
- Learn to walk by Faith and not by Sight!
When I talk about Showers of Snowflakes, it’s not just about what God will give us, but it also about who He brings into our life. And I can honestly say that this week I was showered with snowflakes. From one meeting to the next, God was there, and the relationships that were being built was all a part of his plan.
It’s amazing how people you’ve just met, can become a part of your solid foundation. When you share the same ideas you are creating a greater vision! Know at that moment that it’s by the Grace of God that wonderful things happen when they do and Again, I say, it’s in His time and not mine.
That is what happened this week. God showered us with his Blessings. After the blessings, all I could think about was what can we do now to help someone else with their business. Because the Blessings that God gives should be shared and used to open doors for others.
I am Thankful and very grateful for you, our viewers and readers, for just taking the time – even if it’s just for a minute – to allow us to share with you our vision and shower you with the Abundance of snowflakes that God has sent to us, so that you may also receive the Blessings.
A warm hello to our troops around the world and our 25 countries who visit our website. God Bless each and everyone of you and your Families.

“You’re Gonna get Hate Mail!”
by LatinFusionTV on Mar.01, 2010, under General Posts
Latin Fusion TV just got back from Eagle Pass last night. It is a small border town outside Piedras Negras, Mexico for those that don’t know. We were invited and attended a community Bull Riding Rodeo that helps young bull riders sharpen their skills. We also met a Chief of the Kikapoo Indian Tribe and some very nice people. We had fun!
What does this have to do with the price of tea in China? you ask.
Well, as we drove to and from (2.5 hours) we placed our magnetic logo on our vehicle - this way people can see and perhaps ponder who we are and even look us up on the internet. It is a great marketing tool. Unless they confuse you with the other show on TV – to be discussed later. This brings up the following that I will pass on to you as good and Godly, Marketing advice:
- Do be courteous – your information is on the door;
- Do not drive like a maniac – see # 1;
- Do not text and drive and do not be making/taking lots of phone calls;
- Don’t go around honking at people;
- If you get honked at – do not respond or retaliate with rage or lack of consideration;
- When stopped for gas – be pleasant and answer questions;
- If they confuse your show/company with another – show some love;
- Always give credit to the other guy but explain who you are and why you are different, see #6;
- Remember that we are all trying to make it and professionalism goes a long way – even if people are stealing your ideas and story ideas;
- Be professional and courteous in all that you do; and
- Remember Karma – what goes around comes around!
To this end we give love to our competition and to those that do take our ide, content and contacts, it happens – but it is cool. At some point, if you behave with respect and dignity and give credit where credit is due – you will be blessed with greater abundance. If you do not, and are one who thinks that deceit and dishonesty is the way to build your business – you will reap what you sow!
And at some point: “You’re gonna get Hate Mail!”
Thanks Jesse for your words of Wisdom!
But, Consider this, if you are reading this – you are already blessed to have a place to sit and read and the luxury to do so. People in Haiti and Chile are struggling and we send our love, prayers and blessings to them and their families because they are struggling in a way that I am clueless about.
God Bless and Keep the faith!

Michael
“Thank You” is a four letter word!
by LatinFusionTV on Feb.25, 2010, under General Posts
I have a beef that I want to share…I don’t want to come off as preachy, but I simply want to share my views. So, Thank you for taking time out to read this, and I really mean it – Thank you very much!
I often wonder why it is that people just don’t say “Thank you” anymore. And/or if they do say it – how many really mean it! Honestly, we get a few emails for people to cover their event or come see them and support them and when we do – even take time to give them footage – they don’t bother to visit our website or send others to the website to see what we did for them or to share our work with others. Hey, we don’t expect anything – but a thanks would be cool. Makes it worth our while, you know, to feel appreciated.
I will give you an example – we ran a cool story about a friend in the music industry (gave some cool footage and support – we thought) and when we ran it – our friend didn’t take the time to see it, didn’t share it with others and didn’t really say thank you. But when a larger periodical ran an article, our friend sent an email blast out. Chapped our hide! Not really, it didn’t…But it did beg the question – Why don’t people say thanks anymore?
People want coverage of their group, organization, event, industry, genre, etc…will send out e-blasts and emails to promote it, but then don’t give thanks to the small guy that goes out and covers it…I believe this to be sad.
I just think that people have forgotten basic social graces now that internet and texting is here.
People, we need to just pick up the phone and call to say “hey” or “thanks”! It will go a long way.
We are not in that big a hurry or cannot have digressed that much as a civilization and/or community. If you are – please slow down and enjoy the relationships that God brings your way.
I am all for keeping in touch and I try to say thanks whenever I can. Especially to you, our audience. You don’t have to read my blabbering, but if you are – I want to say thanks!
And that is all I want to say – “Thank You” is a four-letter word – N I C E!
Take care, God Bless and Thank You very much…
Cool Runnings – Michael
Blessings when you support others!!
by LatinFusionTV on Feb.13, 2010, under General Posts
I sat here and asked God what he wanted me to share with the world, with so much going on all around – “Support” is what he put in my heart.
Support is what we here at LFTV are giving to the Center for Family Relations as we prepare for this fundraiser “Celebrity Dinner” which goes to a great cause on March 25, 2010.
I want to take this time to invite everyone to reach into your hearts and join in this support. We, as the adults, can come out and support the events and whatever the cause may be. But we have to remember the Kids are the future and we, as adults, are here to set the good example that we, too, always support each other.
Some of us may not have the financial income to help, but we all know someone who does. I asked myself WWJD and His answer was: share with everyone what HE does daily and the support HE gives in all you do.
There are so many ways to help with this fundraiser. To all the Organizations out there, take a look at where you are today.
Ask yourself: Has God helped you? Are you prospering? What if your family needed the help? What if it was your child or a close friend that needed help, then would you be as loving and dedicated as God? Would you turn to God for help?
It is the dedication and Love of God that brings to you the support you need in order for you to prosper. I, myself, have asked Him and thanked him for each of you and for bringing those of you who will reach out to the Center.
I sometimes get very sad right there with my Father, asking why there are people in this world who come to you when they need your help but when you need them, they just don’t respond. There’s always one excuse after another. This is not the way to support each other.
But God has taught me to continue to love that person, and continue to pray for them, because in the end the kids are the ones that will be Blessed for knowing those who were there to Support in creating a stronger center.
We hope that you will find it in your heart and come join the support, as we will always be there to support you…
Many Blessings and Much Abundance and we hope to see you at the Celebrity Dinner.

From Aint’s to Saint’s – America’s Team
by LatinFusionTV on Feb.08, 2010, under General Posts
Well, it is here and gone – Superbowl 44. The Saints have done it. They are the Superbowl Champs. They should be the new “America’s Team!” I am a Dallas Cowboy fan so I would be hard pressed to let this nomicker go. But, there is a reason that I would vote for the Saints…. And lots to write about, so please bear with me.
“This is a Team of Destiny;” “Choose to Believe!” These are things said about the Saints. But weren’t these things said about America? After the 9-11 Tragedy in New York, after Hurricane Katrina and Ike, didn’t we rally as a nation. After the Civil War and World War I and II, didn’t we rally to rebuild our nation. After Hurrican Katrina, didn’t New Oreans rally behind their team. If their is anything to learn/remember – remember the first home game in New Orleans on Monday night after the hurricane. The saints whipped Atlanta. Something was in the air.
Now, the United States was built on God’s virtues- initially. Let’s not debate Manifest Destiny and our less than perfect democratic structure. Back then, every town was built around a church. All those that lived virtuous lives have led to Saintdom and God’s work was evident in the strength of our nation. What we need is to rally around this great nations ability to rally around adversity and destruction. To pull together and make something great happen to those that have suffered – and not over night, but over time. This is why I believe the Saints should be America’s team – they have done it.
But I will add something here that has nothing to do with the above topic.
I once heard it said (after a game with only one turnover, which led to the other team scoring and eventually winning) “That is why you cannot turn the ball over! It can cost you the game.” In this case it did. But you have to give credit to both teams, both quarterbacks and both coaches. I digress…
The Apostle Paul converted after being Saul and had seen the light on the road to Damascuss…a killer turned Saint. Regardless of your religious affiliation, this is what we all search for – to turn away from our ways and be accepted and loved and to love others. It is important to note that I, too, struggle but am so glad that I have a loving God that accepts me for who I am and therefore, I should do the same to my fellow man/woman.
If there was hope for Paul, there is hope for me and definitely for you too. May you find the love of God in your Heart and lead others to love with your actions and words. And, when you fall short – get up and believe that it is possible to change. Because one loss does not make you a loser, but instead should build in you a desire to win and be the best you can be and leave the rest to God.
After all, if the Aint’s can become Saints – so can I!!!
Cool Runnings,
Michael
Have you seen my job?
by LatinFusionTV on Feb.03, 2010, under General Posts
Have you seen my job? That is the question I have to ask….
Why do I ask? Because recently, I got laid off, and as other’s say: “I’m sorry you lost your job!” So, again, I ask – have you seen my job? I seem to have lost it. What do they mean?
Okay, I’ll be serious now. I don’t think I lost it, it’s just that no one will be sitting at my desk, doing the work I used to do (or pretend to have done) and the work will still have to be done, but by fewer people. But the real truth is that times are tough – regardless of what the media or the president says. Times are tough – still – for lots of people. Many qualified workers are still out of work and looking for jobs and/or work. Now, I am one. Except, I saw this coming – it wasn’t a matter of if, but when.
But I am not looking for work, yet! When I do rejoin the search for gainful employment, it won’t be the same as many struggling in the world today.
You see, I have Faith and I Trust in the Lord with all my heart and soul. I do not know what he has in store for me, but I Trust in the Lord to do for me what I cannot do for myself. I am not going to be looking for work – I will be looking for clients. Because I have been working part time in two positions and one of them is following my dream, using my God given talents to serve Him in a manner that benefits many. By writing this Blog, I believe that I serve God. Isn’t that considered work – Doing the Lord’s work?
I am thankful for the opportunity given to me by soon to be ex-boss. I am thankful that I got to work on the 15th floor of the coolest building in San Antonio, TX (overlooking the Riverwalk and two swimming pools). And no, I did not have a pair of binoculars. God gave me the opportunity to look at my great city from the 26th floor whenever I needed a break. I could see every part of the city from that floor. God has been very good to me and will continue to be good to me whether or not I work. God is good all the time.
My job is to be thankful, show gratitude and to help others. So I help by saying: this is nothing but a chance to allow God to work in my life in a way that I could never have imagined. God does that. When one door closes, another one opens. When I let God take charge, God directs my steps but I must make the move.
I must be willing to be humble and accept what God gives me and know that God provides. I am a little scared and anxious, but only because I have never ventured solely on my own in the business community. I have always worked for someone else. This time it will be for God and myself. So, maybe I won’t be working solely for myself. I think I will let God be my employer and know that there is no recession in God’s land (Heaven).
So maybe I should ask the following: “Which door should I choose, Lord?
Thank you for reading and may you find peace and prosperity in all that you do, in both your trials and triumphs AND may you go with God. I love you all for taking time out of your life to read about mine.
Peace be the Journey – Cool Runnings mon!

What is patience? and Is our faith strong?
by LatinFusionTV on Jan.26, 2010, under General Posts
I often wonder when you work day in and day out, to make things happen, and all the time and effort it takes; you’re constantly on the phone and talking to people in the business and at that moment when you finally think something great is about to happen – there’s a halt. A feeling of discouragement comes through you and you start to lose your patience; it feels like you were let down. And after all the work you have just put into it – you tend to get angry. But! Remember your strong faith that God has instilled in your heart. Maybe those business deals were not the ones God wanted for you. He lets us know in his own way and remember it’s His timing, we just have to always trust and be patient and hold on to our faith. Remember don’t get discouraged and if you do it just helps you to build your courage and be patient. So to this I say: I am patient and my Faith is really strong. It’s only the beginning of the New Year and our journey is just getting stronger and more powerful!
I’d like to say a special Hello to our 25 countries that visit our website;
to our fellow paesanos in Italy, the Netherlands, USA, Romania and many more.
Till next time, remember to love one another and lift each other up and together we can make a difference and prosper in life.
Many prayers and Blessings to Haiti. To our Troops all over the world
We love you!!
Much Abundance hasta la proxima Que dios los Bendiga

Duty? Choice? Sid’s Dish – Dishin it out!
by LatinFusionTV on Jan.24, 2010, under General Posts
I am introducing a new column and writer to our blog page…Enjoy!
Sid’s Dish
As I go through my days - I often reflect on what I did right and what I do wrong. I look and see what can be done better. I don’t know that I succeed in making my life better through this reflection but it can’t be all bad.
Recently, I have had to rethink my role in this world (as a result of my reflection)! I realized that I was doing things wrong. Boy, was I ever!
I found myself looking at the Lord and going to church as a duty, not a choice. I am not setting a good precedent for myself and cannot possibly be leading others on the right path.
You see, that is my journey (i believe) – to take others for a ride whilst on this journey called life. I consider myself a ferryman, ferrying those to and from. Helping others get to where they need to be or escape from where they’ve been or just to get home after a long journey. Herman Hesse fans will understand completely. I have lived a crazy life and now I just want to hang by the river and listen to the flow of the “Living Water!” But I digress!
I am more spiritual than religious, more wrong than right and not the person – I expect – that God wants me to be! I am in need of Grace and Mercy and forget that at times…In my reflection, I found that I do not need anything except Grace and Mercy! I was praying when I was made aware of this…as I asked for God’s Blessing - He said “you need Grace and Mercy!”
Further, it ws made aware to me that I need to show the same grace and mercy that God shows me. It is easy for me to judge and find fault, especially in others, but mostly in myself. IT IS IMPERATIVE, however, that I allow God to work through me and not just with me.
This is where I find the most difficulty. Because I know that God gives gifts according to His will. I sometimes use these God given talents to impose my will on myself and on others. It is here that I have to ask for forgiveness (about my actions/thoughts/words) and share the same compassion to others that has been shown me.
I have to share with you here that I do not have to understand God to know He is God. And I must add that when I lean on my own understanding – I fall short and find myself wanting. When I lean not on my own understanding, but instead, Trust in the Lord with my whole heart – I grow in faith and trust in the Lord – And, I find peace!
This is the same peace that I struggle with when helping others reach their destination - I sometimes want to take the journey with them, beause I know (from experience) how much fun the journey can be! And I sometimes get troubled because I know that God is using me to lift…not leave.
So, I have to remember, it is my duty to work faithfully, but my choice to bemoan my labor and circumstance…and it is my duty to be a cheerful giver – so it should be my choice to do so faithfully and happily. And I am working on it on a daily basis.
It is very difficult for me to undersatnd what God’s will for me is – but I have to remember the following about God’s Will:
That God will for me – God will do for me that which I cannot do for myself – as long as I let Him and try not to understand it – but instead, Just do it!
And I am just – Dishin it out!

Saludos to all our beautiful fans, family and friends, I hope everyone if off to a great start for the new year!

Cancelled: Step back or Setback – which is it???
by LatinFusionTV on Jan.06, 2010, under General Posts
I am a football fan! I am a football fan before I am a team fan. I appreciate a good game more than I appreciate my favorite team or player. And my favorite players are not necessarily on my favorite football team. Unless, of course, my team is in the Super Bowl. Then I have the luxury of putting my team in my favorite game in the only real Championship game that I watch…
I like success, but as I prevously posted and posited – what, exactly, constitutes a success? And what does this have to do with anything. Well, here goes!
Latin Fusion TV had plans to begin broadcasting on our local (San Antonio) Telemundo Channel on January 22nd, 2010. This will not be happening simply due to economics and new challenges. The FCC requires we provide closed captioning for our show (paid broadcasts between 5 a.m to 2 a.m. or 21 hours a day). And There are exceptions. We do not yet know if we qualify. Closed captioning costs money (per show or for the software). And since it is just Brandy and me right now – we felt that it would be best that we do not walk into the new year owing money for our show. It already costs to produce it and we are without major sponsors for now. No worries…it is all in God’s hands and in His time. Again, No worries.
Brandy and I have had to “step back” and evaluate our position, our target markets as well as our strategy. That is what we consider a step back. Kind of like a field goal kick or a drop back pass – you gotta step back to get the momentum to fire away.
Now, the unfortunate circumstance of the New England Patriots’ Wes Welker and his injury – that is a “setback.” They lost one of their most valuable players. Heck, it has been argued that Wes is one of the best slot receivers to ever play the game. He is definitely one of the best I have ever watched. The team has been setback and will also have to step back and replan for the playoffs. Bummer, for sure. But what would Belichick do? What he always does – keeps going until the season ends, as will the rest of the team.
I bring all of this up because the “Beautiful Brandy Lopez” does not want to let down her fans and the fans of our show. I call it our show, but it really is “her” show. Brandy is the beauty and the talent behind the show. She also conceptuallized the whole deal – long before I got here. But I digress! Brandy thinks we are letting people down. But why? Because we are not airing on Broadcast tv. To me, this is not the case and here is why…
More people spend time on their phones and on the computer than in front of the television. With todays technologies and with current phone applications, we can still bring the show to you. That is our plan. To “Step back”, gain momentum and push forward. So right now we won’t be airing on Broadcast tv, but it is only temporary. We have some plans in the making that might even take us national before we go local. But the show will go on!
Latin Fusion TV will be airing – via the internet, on the World Wide Web January 22, 2010 – as planned. The show will be new – new interviews, new guests, new sponsors and and in a new direction.
“A comma, not a period!’” as a friend of mine says. And we are not the only ones – many are affected by the FCC ruling. So we thank you for your continued support, your comments and your interest. But most of all – We Thank God for the opportunity to serve you with our show!
take care and Cool Runnings,
Michael
